The Hellenic Society for Psychosocial Support, Rehabilitation and Community Care was founded in 2005.
Since the summer of 2006, it has operated two Boarding Houses for 15 people with Intellectual Disability and Secondary Mental Disorders in Peristeri and Ilion, Attica respectively, while since March 2013, it has also operated two corresponding Protected Apartments for 4 people in the same areas.
The purpose of the Hellenic Society for Psychosocial Support, Rehabilitation and Community Care is to care for the improvement and promotion of mental health and community care services in Greece, by qualified and legally practicing mental health professionals, according to the methodology prevailing in Greece, the European Union, and internationally that governs the sciences they provide.

The Promotion of the individual and social rights (e.g. the right to education, vocational training, rehabilitation and support) of individuals facing mental health problems and their families.

The Promotion of mental health and the prevention of mental illness, through the development of organized educational and intervention programs that address both the individual and the community.

The development, staffing and support of structures that promote mental health and community care, for people who are vulnerable and often socially excluded population groups, such as those suffering from symptoms of mental illness, the mentally retarded, etc. In other words, the care so that these social groups receive the best possible care, treatment, recovery or development of life skills that will help them exist and integrate into society on the best possible terms.

The design, distribution and provision of "open" education programs related to awareness and training on issues related to mental health and social exclusion and of interest to both citizens, sufferers and their environment, as well as mental health professionals (Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Sociologists, Social Workers, Nurses, Nurses and Caregivers).

Social research and research into behavior, normal and deviant, the dissemination of results and their use for the improvement of mental health, e.g. research in psychotherapy and psychological assessment, research in the field of social exclusion and vulnerable groups, etc.

The provision, coordination and supervision of care and intervention through the structure of the organization and in collaboration with "networks" consisting of specialized academic and clinical bodies in Greece and abroad, (Prevention, diagnosis, treatment, psychosocial rehabilitation/recovery, reconnection).

The evaluation of behavior with scientific tools.
Additionally,
- The development of de-asylum programs within the aforementioned structures, but also in the community as a whole.
Raising awareness and supporting the families and loved ones of the aforementioned groups, with the aim of improving their relationships and accepting and jointly addressing the problems they face.
Informing and raising awareness of the general public about issues and individual/social problems that relate to and accompany psychological problems and symptoms of mental disorders, through printed and electronic material (e.g. internet).
Mobilizing the community on mental health and community care issues and developing volunteer programs to combat the "stigma" of mental illness and social exclusion.
The application of new technologies, research and creation of software programs with the aim of utilizing them in the field of mental health.
The creation, utilization and distribution of data and information (e.g. in the form of electronic and printed material) related to mental health and community care.
The provision of services related to the above.
